About Me.
My name is Nicholas Eichner, and I am an aspiring costume fabricator. I have been creating props and costumes for myself for over 7 years and have developed my skills in a variety of techniques such as sewing and 3D printing. My portfolio showcases some of my best work and projects. I am always looking for more opportunities to learn and grow.

As a sophomore at Florida State University, I am pursuing my passion for costume fabrication as I attain a degree in theatre. I am constantly striving to learn new techniques and enhance my craftsmanship. I invite you to take a look at my portfolio to see what I have worked on.

Education and Experience
2020-2024
Highschool
As a high school student, I took steps to pursue my passion for costuming. I took classes for technical theater, costumes, hair, and makeup in order to immerse myself in the technical aspects of theater. During my time in high school, I created specialty costume pieces for multiple productions including Mean Girls and The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley.
2023
Costume Clinic Art Show,
Broward Center
In addition, I have done workshops with my local theatre, The Broward Center, in order to learn from those who are in the industry and have practical knowledge of costume design. This experience has given me an insight into the world of costume design and fabrication as well as the challenges and required communication that come with it. My work for this is displayed in my portfolio, as well as above.
2024-Present
Theater BA, Florida State University
I am currently a Ba student at Florida State University enrolled in the School of Theater. Here I am learning about the processes of costume fabrication, working as both a stitcher and an artisan in the costume shop since spring semester of my freshman year. In addition to this I have worked wardrobe for Once Upon a Mattress and Young Frankenstein.
