For a sewing class final, we constructed corsets that were tailored to ourselves, complete with a lace up back, busk, and boning. The fashion fabric I chose was a purple Silk Dupioni. The fabric cutting and construction of the garment was done entirely by me. The tailoring and pattern alteration instructions were given to us by the instructor.
