I participated in a series of workshops based around creating costume designs with the intention to create fully fleshed out designs for a production of Beetlejuice Jr, a pilot production that was put on by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. For my design I chose the character Delia. The workshops taught us the full design process having us create mood boards, concept webs, and sketches complete with fabric swatches. We listened to guest speakers and were able to meet and discuss with those who work in theater, costuming, and fashion. The culmination of our work was having our designs posted outside of the theater in an art exhibit for the night of the pilot production.
