One of my favorite things that I have been able to create was a full Mandalorian Suit, completely 3D printed using a single 3D printer. I created the armor from start to finish. I took the digital files, formated them for printing, printed them, sanded down each piece, used filler to fix any imperfections, and painted them to have a metallic finish. Just to print the pieces was 200+ hours of print time. The post processing was easily an additional 20 hours of hands on work. In total the project took around 2 months for a "Version 1" (pictured in the professional photos). Later I used my developing sewing skills to take a stock halloween costume and alter it to be a screen accurate under-suit/flight-suit (pictured in the later two phots). To this day I still add to it.
